Biography

The Howlin Embers are an Americana duo based out of Nashville, TN. For the past several years the husband-wife duo of Colton and Ponda Frost, have played shows all around the southeast. Strongly influenced by John Prine, Gillian Welch, and Dave Rawlings, their music, rooted in folk, country, and blues has been described as sparse yet polished, a sound that gets right to the core of the song. They are currently working on their debut full length album.
